AIBPM, stands for Association of International Business and Professional Management, is an association that formed by Mr. Liem Gai Sin, Ph.D that dreams that this association will be beneficial for many people, especially for academicians in business and management field.

AIBPM MISSION

The Association of International Business & Professional Management (AIBPM) is an international, interdisciplinary organization committed to advancing international business, business communication research, education, training and professional management practice.

AIBPM’s Vision

The AIBPM seeks to become the association in the field of business and management by promoting excellence in teaching, increasing knowledge within the discipline, encourage of international business classes to better prepare students, and improving the quality of professionalism in the workplace. To reach all the purposes, we plan to incorporate many technologies for enhanced communication and provision of the services they most need.

In order to realize the mission and vision, AIBPM held, and will still hold conferences namely International Conference of Project Management (ICPM), in many cities in Indonesia. The key intention of ICPM is to provide opportunity for the global participants to share their ideas, experiences, and/or research findings. Moreover, this event will help the participants to establish research or business relations as well as to find international linkage for future collaboration in their career path. Some conferences that AIBPM has held were the 2018 Malang International Conference of Project Management, the 2018 Gorontalo International Conference of Project Management, and the 2019 Bali International Conference of Project Management, and more conferences in other cities are coming soon.

In 9 years of existence, AIBPM shows its contribution not only in business and management area, but also in education, especially by publishing papers into journal. AIBPM has several journals that publish various papers, they are IJABIM (International Journal of Applied Business and International Management), IJAFAP (International Journal of Accounting & Finance in Asia Pacific), IJTHAP (International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality in Asia Pacific), APJME (Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Education), and JCDA (Journal of The Community Development in Asia). AIBPM’s contribution in education field is not only by holding conference event, they also have several projects namely “Ayo Ekspor”, “SMEs Go International” that focus to train university students and encourage them to entrepreneurship and make their business go international. AIBPM’s other program is “Nusantara Project”, it is a project where many students all around the world meet and divided into groups, and they are given certain topics related to business and management and they have to discuss and make a paper about it. The interesting thing about “Nusantara Project” is none of them is from the same country or university, but they still try to keep up with the members in the group to arrange the paper. It shows their big interest in business and management field.
